Just for the sake of curiosity. How do we really know when God himself comes into the world in human form. In Mahabharatha,it is said Sisubala denounced Lord Krishna as a magician and hurled abuses at him before he was killed. In Hinduism, like saivites, vaishnavites etc., non-believers also formed part in olden days. Reg. Ravishankarji, I got bored after seeing him on TV for sometime. His talk was something like "One (smile) plus (smile) One (smile) equal to (smile) Two (Big smile)".

Also I got bored:
"One (stupidsmile) plus (stupidsmile) One (stupidsmile) equal to (stupidsmile) Two (Big stupidestsmile)".:(

Dear Shankaracharya,
1. I don't know if the Art of Living Foundation has a different system in Canada/ US. In India, you CAN get out of it if you want to.

2. If you want to know what the organisation does for an individual, you might try doing some simple pranayams (Anulom-Vilom, Bhastrika/ Kapalbhati) followed by 20 minutes of meditation and you might get the general idea.

3. If you are genuinely interested in what AOL has done for the society, please follow the links in the page http://www.artofliving.org/service.htm or better still, drop in at their centre in Bangalore next time you are in India and pitch in.

4. You have written, "What is it for this guy called Ravi Shankar, only time will tell but knowing something about his personal life(which I cannot share in the open) the time is not too far away !."

It will be great if you PMd me with whatever it is you cannot share in the open about his personal life. You see, a close relative of mine is in the Indian Intelligence Bureau and has unearthed the dirt behind many of the current "sants" in India, but has managed to get nothing on Ravi Shankar so far. So any information that you PM will be much appreciated and treated with utter confidentiality.

:p :) :D

Excuse me, but that WAS amusing.

First, a "close relative in the Indian intelligence bureau" discusses his case findings with you? Must be really "intelligent"..

And then you go around proclaiming that, and trying to find dirt about Ravi Shankar for "your close relative" on the WWW?

Hopefully, it was just good sarcasm...
