How many years to get settled?

For all those of you who immigrated here (after say 20yrs of age). How long did it take you to feel settled (mentally).

depends on individual circcumstances, ie did you come alon or with family, did you know people in Canada already, do you know the language, who haveyou left behind etc etc

For me it was within a year as I had always wanted to live in Canada and leave England
