We will be coming on a pr visa soon.i would like to know if there is any validity period required for my passport or just a valid passport is enough?we have an indian passport and would becoming from mumbai.
secondly is an income tax clearance certificate from bombay required at the bombay airport?

For passport:
A valid passport is required. I will suggest to check it again on CIC website
For ITCC:
Not required as this condition was abolished couple of years ago
If your passport is going to expire soon then the period available for entry will be governed by:
1. Date of medicals /stamp of validity by High Commission.

I flown with Lufthansa from Chennai last month to Toronto.Nobody check the IT clearance in Chennai Air port.
