I would like to know more on this and in particular on a assessment test for the
new immigrant, who wants to join 8th Grade in Ottawa.

Thanks Rajnish.

We moved from Dubai and the school here informed us that we must first go to the
family reception centre. When I contacted them, we were informed that there would
be an assesment test in maths and english.

We want to know some details about this. Since this is urgent. My son is also in 8th
grade.

If it is ok with then I can give my contact details, may be you could spare some couple
of minitues.
