Yes "'Unfortunate' is an understatement...."

I did not see complete Video. After first interview of Kid, I just stopped it. I grew up in Jogeshwari and I still share good relation. There is no point in involving Kids in such interview. Yes "Unfortunate is an Understatement ...."

Please Mod Lock it and take it off ...

Its no point in discussing/remembering such time.

Please dont scratch that Wound ! Its not healed but please help to Hide somewhere in corner of my mind.

What bothers me is that a signifcant number of desis who settled in North America are supporters of right wing organizations in India. What a shame - why can't they keep religion out of politics?

the cases of extreme patriotism are probably due to the isolation felt on moving to North America. You will find many immigrants get more fundamentalist in their views once they get here. Like they are trying to hold on harder to their culture, against the threat of losing it. I've noticed this is in not only Hindus but Sikhs and Muslims too. Infact, the first time I saw a Sikh woman wear a kirpan and paghadi was when I arrived in Toronto, from India.

As for Indian christians especially Catholic, I've seen quite a few get more radical once they hit North American shores.

Note: I am not debating on wether any of this is right or wrong... merely stating my observations.

another example...this time a distasteful one, someone needs to be exiled from Australia to one of the 'stans he seems to identify with:

Hearteningly, the voice of moderate muslims seem to be getting louder.

Hmm, I did not realise that the link was pulled by GG.

The doc does give fundamentalist muslims more ammunition. However, it did give an insight into the injustice to innocents due to the riots...leading to fragmentation of society, probably for generations.

The doc itself was about 2 hrs but its been broken down into 10 minute segments on youtube.

For those interested...go to youtube and type in 'gujrat'. Watch with an open mind.

Some anti-Gujarati people are interesting in keeping things live those are five years old. Have you heard about any violence in Gujarat after that?

Do remember, that Akshardham was attacked by terrorists, about 18 people have been killed?????? Did Gujarat reacted after that? Not a single incident!! Itsn't it a sing of responsible state? But no, you guys will prefer to speak about Godhara but not Akshardham...... It was only after 6 months of Godhra.

Gujarat is progressing at a very rapid pace and those who are interested in defaming it (read Lalu, Congress ...) should be considered anti-India. For your knowledge the planning commission of India has given a target of 12 percent growth rate to Gujarat so that Indian can achieve 8 percent growth rate.

Have peace. Do some constructive work, rather than scratching old wounds.
