This post is directed toward north indian parents (those with fair skin) with infants/ children :
What kind of cream do you put for your children/Infants in this cold weather to keep their skin from not drying?
Any answers appriciated very much.

Sidenote : I once used Vaseline on an infant in mycare and some one told me that that will make the skin dark. After that i used Aveeno baby lotion and found the same thing over a couple of months.

The best moisturizing lotion I can recommend for dry skin, especially for infants prone to eczema and similar problems is 'Renew' from Melaluca.

Its a bit expensive compared to the other brands but its really effective. its also non greasy.

I have no guarantees/ideas if it makes the skin lighter/darker/purple though . Its had no such effects on my kids who have been using it regularly for almost 4 years.

I use the Aveeno lotion for my kiddo. The Doctor suggested that for eczema. I found it good.
