Hi,

What does expiry date on visitor visa mean exactly? My dad's visitor visa is expiring on 30th April 2007. Can he enter Canada lets say on 25th April and then stay here for 6 months or does expiry date mean that date shown is the last date you can be in Canada on visit and you have to leave Canada before that.

Expiry date on visitor visa means he has to enter Canada b4 that date and then stay here for as long as the date stamped on his passport at canadian airport by authorities which is mostly 6 months and then he can extend it if he wants to stay more.
