Hi Everyone,
I'm currently based in the US and am a Canadian PR (landed in Feb). My spouse is in Canada working and I'm left in the US to dispose of assets, etc. While my spouse was here I was on an H4 but now that work is terminated I'm no longer in status. However, I do have a B2 visitor visa in my old expired passport which was valid for 10 years and expires in July 07.
My question is can I enter Canada and on my return to the US can I use my old passport with new passport with B2. I have H4 in new and B2 in old.
I would hate to be denied entry as I still have my house on the market and a son at school. We plan on visiting my spouse in a few weeks.
I look forward to any responses. Your help in this regard will be appreciated.
Thank you.

as you mentioned you have Candaian PR ... then you will be able to get a new B2 ( if needed ) from within Canada easily as your spouse is already having a job here ...
( That is if you are not able to use your existing B2 or H4 ) ...
And you definitely have purpose to visit US to sell your house ( I dont see any problem for you visiting to US for short term ) ...
All the best ...
