I am a landed immigrant, arrived here on 18th Jan. I am also studying in a university in the US for my MS, and will be graduating this December and intend to come back here to work. But I got my status changed in the US from H1 to F1 and in order to go back, I need to get my visa stamped.

My question is, how hard it is to get a visa stamped from Canada for a newly landed immigrant. What document should I bring with me to the consulate to convince them that I intend to come back.

Any suggessions will be appreciated.
