So if we wish we could visit - only thing women wont be allowed in the mandir till the swami is there. (WOW). - Again like good people we decide to go in the evening.
Come evening, we finally make it to the temple. We are greeted by seperate sections of shoes for men and women... (...in this day and age???... Oh Well). We take the tour of the temple and are truely amazed by all the carvings and the beauty of the mandir.
Please see this.

I have faith in God...I have no faith in religion.
Just when we were planning to go on 24th we came to know that children were not allowed at this event....???
- I find this one most shocking Out of all pain that you have gone through. And they complain ke Bachche Bigad gaye hai. They don't come visit Temples anymore. We must do something - hmmmm ... let's build one huge very attractive structure to Bring them in.
Other than that one, I am not surprised.
* Swaminarayans do keep Men & Women seperate in all functions. And we all know that "When in Rome, do as the Romans do".

I would like to know if they would do the same to “financially” or “Politically” elite of Desis? This looks like a money making monument. “Paisa fenko tamasha dekho”. $40 mill. huh. Someone’s TazMahal. Guys, send letters to local newspapers. That should do it.

If I read this right you went to the mandir on Friday evening July 27 and came out with a sour taste.
Should've accepted my invitation to M!M!M! You'd be all smiles now.![]()
Or as many of my other friends did- they went to see Russell Peters at Yonge/Dundas square for free and they are still laughing!![]()
