Dear CDs,

I and my wife, along with my infant daughter are currently visiting India. We are citizens of Canada. Can some one provide me information whether we can return to Canada while leaving our daughter in India with her grand parents for another eight months ?

If your daughter is a Canadian Citizen, nothing to worry .
She is free to stay out of Canada. No law says that Canadians should not stay out of Canada.
