I want to invite my parents on visiting VISA. I am at Mississauga. My parents are in India. Please anybody suggest me how to apply from Canada for my parents (Visiting Visa)? I went to India in last summer June to September 2008. I applied from India and the case is rejected for insufficient money in my account. How much money I sould have in my account in Canada? Howmuch money my parents should show in India? Please anybody knows about this. Your answers will be appreciated. Please....

My experience is as follows :

My parents have come to Canada twice and both times were granted visa albeit single entry visa.( on medical grounds)

In each of the times I did NOT submit any documents showing money in my account. You see what the Govt of canada wants to see is how stable you are and how are your parents dependent or not dependent on you.

I submitted the latest T4 slips, notice of assessment,- for myself and my wife and the copy of ownership of my house. No bank statement etc was submitted.

So I think the right answer is not how much money you have, but how stable you are. If both husband and wife have a job, i think that is fine.

Anyway this was my experience.
