Hi,
I just need some small info from the experts. I have sponsored my mom this year . I received the ROOF (Rental supplement of 100$ per month from jan to june 2008) benefit since our income was less than 20000$ during 2006. but now in 2007 our income is abt 40000$ which makes us eligible to sponsor mom.
my query is will receiving the ROOF benefit affect my moms sponsorship. I get child tax too so will this affect the sponsorship even though we meet the income requirements.

You please re-submit the proof of sufficient income with the NOA for the current year when you file and obtain the same. In the interim, submit all of the pay stub copies to back your claim and then wait for the Visa approval.
That is the best that I can help you with.
There is an Immigration Help Center here in Toronto. The gentleman at that location posts here and he offers his help for free and please contact them or visit them in person and do all that is necessary at that location.
