Wanted to share the starting date of Navratra for all those who celeberate it . Bikrami Samwat starts 6April 2008 and Navratra begins 7 April 2008 with Ram Navami falling on 14th April 2008 .

This is my first Navratra celeb in Canada so please share how you all perform 'Kanya Pooja' also called 'Kanjaken' in Punjabi coz we need to have at least 5 little girls to do the pooja.
I remember the days in Delhi when little girls ,holding their plates,would go from one house to other all dressed up in beautiful dresses and all Aunties inviting them over and sometimes having tug-of-war for the little ones.

Really but it is not possible in Canada I wish it was.
Those days were really soooooooooo nice and every family wants to do before everyone.
