The blender we got from India has stopped working due to a breakage in the motor blade, is there a repair shop here in GTA which can fix that? better still please advise a new blender which can blend rice etc for Indian cooking...tia

Oster has a good 12 speed Blender. It is fairly robust and does most of the normal blending that you will encounter. It is available all over. Spares are easy to obtain. (But they are not cheap). It is noisy, if you can put up with it.
If you can mention the name of the Indian Blender with a broken blade, people on the CD web site will give you their suggestions as to how to go about it and who fixes them.
