Has anyone come across parboiled brown rice? As we know brown rice is good but it has the same GI that of a white rice. Parboiled is much better in that aspect. I was told that now there is parboiled brown rice.

Any experience/comments?

Check at Bulk Barn, they keep varieties of brown rice

Buy "Rice" from a Gora supermarket and keep it in a brown Desi's house for a few hours....the desired end product might meet your specifications...let me know if it dosent work..I might suggest another alternative

hmm well buying the rice from a gora super mart and keeping it with the brown desi wud juz give us brown rice, what happens to the parboiled part rohit??

Desis are always Garam and Naram....that wud make the rice boil par exellence...what say u?...

par excellence!! i thought desi just wanted info where to find them, didn't have a clue he was planning to start a business on "parboiled rice" but your suggestions are "the way to go" anyone could be top notch in the market selling parboiled brown rice with this info.... thanx rohit
