Dear All,
pls. suggest i m planning to come to canada on immigration, i have got 7 yrs of expeirience in which 4 yrs, is in insurance and rest 3 yrs in fmcg, i m pgdbm equivalent to mba, and bacholor degree in commerce, can some one let me know my chances of getting job in canada, my salary in india is 70k per month
Please search the forum for many such discussions. It is in your best interest to stay in India.
I second that - please don't feel discouraged by our response but 70K pm is an excellent salary in India and chances are that for your skill sets , you may not land in a comparable position here for initial few years .

Fido.
I third that.
Unless you belive in the living in a place where there is "clean air, unspoilt landscape, snow/ cold 8 month a year, corupttion free country, any job is an honourable job as long as you can live, free education upto 12th std., free library, high taxes, It is either automobile or t else travel by transit, Canadian passport after 4 years " etc., It does not make sense to come here.
Except IT, other professions are very hard to get a foothold into. I have heard that finance people have a better chance that other professionals in Canada but you still need to do solid research.
Again, if you are here only for money and would like to be visiting India once every 2 years, not worth to come here.
Again, it all dpends on why you want to come here. You should give us more ideas. I have seem people struggling to make ends meet but then very happy (atleast that is what they telll me ) as they say that their children are studying for free in schools and they say taht when they go to university, they will take student loan to do complete the studies.
Peace

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Not to discourage you, but if you're earning 70k in India, then please don't immigrate. You're a rich guy in India, and once enter Canada it's hard to get going even with the salary of $55k to $75k/annum. Trust me, you will have to start your life afresh. Not worth it!!!
