$ 1000 a week boils to $50 an hour which no one can get.
The ones that I know for students is $ 6 an hour at a Pizza shop for centennial students. However they can work as many hours as they want in this as you get paid by cash. I donot think that any labour job in the GTA will fetch more than $12 an hour and no one gives you 20 hour work week.
Life for students is even harder than the life for immigrants in Canada. Atleast the immigrants have access to the social benefits accorded by the Govt.

In my experience, almost all tamilians speak english / broken english. I had been to Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai and found that even people in Coat-Suit canot speak a word of English. Maybe Sandhu saw that.
Regarding Czech republic, It must be another country (similar to Canada) which wants the immigrants money and will give nothing in return. I would stay away from the country unless the country in question give me money to settle in their country. They donot speak English in that country and it will be a mess if some rich investor / educated peron goes there. Sandhu must have seen a weak point / loop hole in that country which enables him to send people from India to the Czech republic bilking people of lakhs in fees.

If you are including Ahmedabad, Mumbai & Delhi in non-english speaking city then I would suggest you should really think about your existence in this world. I do know that you are a Tamil speaking person & you are very proud of that, but please don’t show your racist feelings on this website.
I can show you lacs of Tamils in Toronto who cannot speak a word in English even after coming to Canada. But according to us we think that you are also INDIANS & we never try to offend other desis on an open forum of discussion or in public.
To check the English literacy in south, pls call the ICICI call center in south India & try to talk with them…….
