Hi there,
We are located right near Square One Mall in Mississauga. I guess if you are at Islington, near Islington Subway station, it will take you 15-20 minutes drive. And if travelling by Mississauga Transit Bus 89 will bring you near my condo. Also there is bus 26 to square one from Islington Subway.
Thanks.
Well, if we exceed 20 participants, then I guess we will have to book a facility in community centre and share the costs, unless someone suggest another place.
For kids, i am thinking hand/finger paints, since its Holi, get them to make their hand stamps on a long craft paper and hang it, they can write 'happy holi' on that and decorate it. I have some decorative materials. That will keep them busy and get into Holi spirit. A musical chair for kids is also great which can follow after the hand painting.
And are we planning a lunch here, or a dinner? ...and how many hours can each member spare, it is a Saturday afterall.
So far the agenda goes as i understand:
- Introductory Round
- Holi Milan/Music (who is bringing a CD player?)
- Snacks & Drinks (btw, who is bringing snacks and color?)
- Kids Games/Music
- Adult Games/Music
- Lunch/Dinner
Menu must be revised as we cant allow foods that are allergic.

Other options are program room in Host or Nirvana restaurant, but I guess food has to be theres, not ours.
Let me know your views, as to what sounds best to you all.

Didn't see any new replies, are you all still around, or have been struggling with cleaning the snow lately?
