Few more questions on TN visa
Has anybody received 3 year TN visas of late at the border?
Do they issue 3 year I 94 with the TN(in case of 3 year TN) as in case of F1 where the write D/S (duration of study)?
My undergraduate educational credentials is being assessed by University of Toronto at the moment (CES).Is there any particular institution from where we have to get our degress evaluated for the TN visa?
What are the business hours to apply for TN?
If the TN visa holder stays in the US and the family lives in Toronto will the applicant need to pay any additional taxes in Canada?

They will issue an I-94 with a specific expiration date that matches with the date or duration noted in employer's employment letter. So, if the employer says 3 years, you will get 3 years from the day you appear at POE. If your employer says 2 years, that's what you get.
If your degree is from Canada, you do not need an evaluation.
Typical recommended hours are 9 to 5. However, you may be able to file before or later.
If your immediate family lives in Canada, you may also be considered a Cdn resident for tax purposes. You'll have to read more on ccra website or consult a tax advisor.
