Dear Sir,

My passport has been returned by the CHC after six weeks without stamping any visa. No cover letter either.

Can you advice me the meaning of this ? Could it be because of the reminder Fax that I have sent to them to expedite the matter ?

Can the visa be issued separately ? Or do I have to resubmit the passport later ?

Will they ask for it again?

I have completed medicals and have submitted the proof of funds and PCC and all other documentation in total !

Is the visa usually stamped on the PP ?

Or can it also be issued seperately ?

I think u better wait for the passport request. In the CIC letters(with medical papers), they usualy say it is better to give passport to expidite the case. But One is not suppose to give at that time.
A seprate request for the same come. Then only submit. This happen with my brother in law. He did complete his medical in April 2003. The passport request letter came in last week of Jan 2004.
Thorugh returning back is unusual case without reason. I don't think it is do with any kind of rejection. U can check ur CAIPS notes to see what really happen.

Hi,

CAIPS notes is your file with the assessment of the officer if your initial assessment is done. If interview is required, it gives the reason for interview etc.

You can get CAIPS notes from http://www.caipsnotes.com" rel="nofollow">LINK if you don't know anybody from Canada. If someone is there, then they can get CAIPS notes for you.

If you are just waiting for your PP request, then getting CAIPS notes is a waste.
