I am going to appear soon for my IELTS at Bombay. Is it true that - It is better to appear for it in Ahmedabad compared to Bombay? If yes what is the reason?

I have all the material for it and am preparing for it on my own. Is it neccessary to attend classes to pass?

Please give any information about it that you guys have. Really appreciate.

Appear where you think you will be confident speaking english (in case of oral skills), if Ahmedabad's water suits you then go ahead

Secondly there is no pass and no fail in IELTS.
Yes if you are aiming for max points for English then 7 score in all sections is a Pass.


No need to go for classes, as long as you understand the draft of the test.
