I came to Canada as a landed Immigrant in 2000 as a dependant of my husband he was the main applicant
When he applied we did not show my parents as my dependant because that time they were not (may be that time we didn't know the real meaning of it).
but My parents name is there in the column of parents : and u can say its my badluck that my father's first name is misspelled and my mother's last name is misspelled and their date of birth's are recorded wrong in my application form (my record of landing has no record of it. It is only in the application form).
And now I want to sponsor my parents and think that it is going to create a big problem for them. Is there anyway I can correct all this inforamtion.
Can I still sponsor them. Really nead the help/advice from a professional
Thanks
Yes you can definitely sponsor them....
You just have to make some affidavits stating the spelling being misspelled and what their real names are along with the proofs such as govt ID card, passport, Leaving certi. etc...
Dont worry much about the thing which you havent shown ur parents as ur dependant in your application when you first applied
Good Luck
