Dear Mr.Masood,
My situation is as follows:
I would like to apply for a visitors visa for my parents very shortly. I have been resident in Canada approx. 2.5 years. I am single and earn enough to meet the minimum sponsorship requirements for future immigration for both parents.
My parents are currently visitors in the UK. They are retired, and would like to make a short trip to Canada and return to the UK as a returning visitor following which they return to India.
Now what would be the best approach for making the application, and what red flags do you see, if any?
Also,
1)Will they be able to get the visa in time, say on or before the 20th of January 2006 or is it too short a notice?
2)Should I apply for a long term visa, in interest of my intent to sponsor them later?
3)Would it be a bad idea to apply for visiting, when I am anyway planning to apply for their sponsorship soon?
4) Could they make the visit visa application at CHC in London, UK.
Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
