Has anyone used 'Localphone' to call India. They use VoIP to connect and the cost is only 2.9 c per minute.

Using it in the US since last two months. No issues so far. I like the feature where you can go to your account online and assign local numbers to your long distance numbers and dial them from your phone book (cell phone), instead of dialing the access number first and then manually punching the long distance number.
BTW, all of the long distance providers route the calls via VOIP nowadays.

thanks for sharing this. this service looks awesome. I just paid for it .. will try it out tonight.
Their idea is very nice .. giving a local number and by identifying your phone number (where the call is originating from) they know where to route the number. Brilliant and yet simple idea .. but all brilliant ideas are simple.
I have heard about localphone for quite some time, but was hesitant to try it out. Looks like i have to give it a shot now 3.2 cents canadian isnt bad.
