There is an Australian consulate in Toronto. Instead of discussing online, it would be nice if some one organizes a peaceful protest in front of the consulate

As per your twisted logic, all the MPs and MPPs of Indian origin in Canada should only work for the betterment of people of Indian origin and nobody else!
Why are we desis so proud that we have a bunch of people of Indian origin in the parliament here and at the same time, we can't accept Sonia Gandhi in India. I think she is as Indian as anyone of you who claims to be a Canadian.
What's happening Down Under is really sad. And what makes it worse is that the Australian government is not even acknowledging these attacks as racially motivated. Close your eyes and the problem shall go away.

I do not think in India, you get attacked because of your skin colour. And just because Indians are supposedly racist means they should be tolerant of the indifference shown to them.

I do agree that this does not necessarily mean that we should tolerate any such treatment ourselves but there is something to be said about losing one's credence while making a case against a charge that one has been tried for many times before.

Does this imply that people of other ethnicities are "colour blind"? You label Indians as racist only because majority people in your circle are Indians. If you came to know as many Chinese or Goras, you will change your opinion
