For those trying to reach VFS by phone try these No 9054532658, you shall get it most probably.

Thanks for the number. Did you get your originals back yet? Does your online status on mha.nic.in show anything completed? You can enter your CANTI number on the second text box (the box for "online registration no).

Mine shows a CANT0 number in the first box and application is "under process", but VFS shows the originals not yet back from the consulate. Confusing???!!!

HI,
I did call call & confirm they have my originals back, and I have to go & collect it.
At the interview at the Consulate, officer, they casually mentioned that they shall send the documents back to VFS, I told the VFS person that the officer told me he has sent the documents back to VFS, they checked and replied in positive.

These people have no proper channel of process of flow of applications , practically everyone talks different, they are just not accountable to any thing , the work they do is like a charity they are performing for us , as if they are doing some grt favour for us, the whole excercise is frustating but can't help it you have to bear it.

Thanks peacock1. Can you confirm if, for you, the VFS website link shows that the documents have returned to VFS? I am asking because, I just called them and they asked me what the VFS wesite shows and they told me whatever the website shows is current. I am trying to gage if the website and these people are on the same page or not.

Hi,
Online tracking on VFS site does reflect the status as doc ready for collection.
