I think CD is a great site and I have recommended it to many new/prospective immigrants. However I am a bit curious about the actual site itself
When and why did this group begin?
How many moderators are there?
How does one go from being a junior desi to a senior desi?
It would be nice to have an "About CD" section on the website.

Getting promoted to Senior Desi is easy, any one having more than 100 posts automatically becomes a senior desi.
