We would be moving soon and are considering buying a new Flat TV,This was not mentioned in our goods to follow list
Would be we charged duties/taxies ??
We are nothing taking anything else except a TV so would customs let go ??
Where can I find out more info ?

They may not inspect your items and let you through but if it's a large TV like 60" or whatever, they'll likely notice it.
BTW, are you sure it's worth moving a large TV here?
Where are you coming from? Have you checked input compatibility, voltage etc?
Flat screen TVs have become very cheap here esp. since Boxing Day so it may not be worth your while to move it.

With ESPN and SONY starting 3D TV transmission shortly is it worth bringing in any Flat screen TV to North America ?. Also the new wave of LED's are coming with internet ready platform so that your computer/hard disk is kept at one part of the home while your TV can access info from all your computers from home, get on the internet through it and watch programs at your will.
I will not suggest buying a TV elsewhere now. Also the transmission rules are changing in Canada for TV starting February 2011.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.
The TV ystem from Asia (PAL) does not work in Canada (NTSC) unless you add a converter which will reduce the quality as I hear. So it is better to buy it over here since the price is almost the same here as compared with middle east.
