Hi , I am coming to canada for PR stamping & will return back after 15 days . I have to show proof of funds at airport . As I will stay only 15 days in Canada I will bring 3000 cad in cash & remaining 12000 of travellers cheque .
My question is : If I bring Travellers cheque in USD is it ok at airport ? -
Any how I am not going to cash it in canada , When I go back I will retirn it to bank .
Thanks in advance

Hi,
My cousin will be coming over this spring with family for PR stamping and will return thereafter.
They have no major expenses here during that time.
Converting funds to canadian / usd $ for showing at immigration and then converting back to rupees may turn out to be expensive.
Is there another alternative .
I know there are many to come for their stamping. Do all of them convert funds on the way in and later out.
Would it be ok to send a USD draft from here , which they can show at immigration.
Thank you for ur responses.
Cheers
hi, anyone just come for PR stamping from India and gone back . how did u get funds to show at immigration. Any way to avoid conversion on both occasions and avoid the potential loss in exchange.
cheers...
