want to appear for G test, is Port union a good place ? I think it is at Scarborough. All centres Aurora and Guelph etc have waiting till mid may and i want to do it earlier.

My wife took G test at Port Union . It was a breeze since they do not take you on 401 . The instructors generally test your skills on Kingston Rd which has little or no traffic .

A few years ago, my son got his G license at this PORT UNION location with no problems whatsoever. However when my daughter, who is a much better driver than my son, attempted to get her G license in July 2014, she got a Chinese examiner who had such a thick accent, she could not understand his instructions at all. When she very politely asked him to repeat his instructions, he got furious and began yelling at her. He then made her do some really difficult maneuvers to force a mistake out of her. She performed all of those flawlessly so he then told her to parallel park on a curve in the road in a residential area. My daughter did this reasonably well but because her front wheel was a couple of inches closer to the shoulder than her rear wheel, he failed her. I am surprised that this center would employ an examiner with such a thick accent and with such a spiteful attitude. This guy should be tarred & feathered and run out of town on a rail and measures should be taken to ensure that he does not get a similar job in any other test center in Canada.
