Please help and advise me, I am a Pakistani lady living and working in
UAE. I am presently working in a very high class ladies salon which is
based in a American University. There I do threading on Foreign students
and teachers. I had my own salon before this job and I am considered
the best anyone has ever seen as my threading is almost painless also.
I would like to live and work in Canada. If someone was kind enough to invite me on Temporary Residence Visa ( I would pay for the expenses )
prospective employers (Indian/Pakistani beauty salon owners)
could test my skills as I am also good at facials, waxing etc. I can also cut ladies hair and do manicure and pedicure also. I am earning lot of money for my present employers and am very hard working and loyal person.

Share,
Thanks for your story. I think some one misguided you or may be the Govt. of Canada misguided you. This is a country where jobs are scare and where even Engineers are doing labour jobs.
Threading in a normal desi salon is done for $ 3 and the person spends a good 15 mins. for it. It is not at all a professional job here.
Unless you have a degree or are a refugee or a spouse of a Canadian, you canot come here. However, we (Canada) want to have desperate people like you as you can pay taxes to the Govt. whil suffering in min. wage jobs. But somehome, the Govt. prefers highly educated professionals/ refugee's to come here.
Please do your research.
Peace
TK

Hi, TK;

You better have to come out of this “Canada Cheated” shell sooner than later. Canada is not just that one employer who didn't pay you well, or that guy, whom you trusted, made extra money out of you for selling some policies and stuff like that; when you was new.

We (almost) all pass thru this and curse the system from like 1 month to max of 36 months; and then get busy making our lives better. Returning back (if one’s roots were ‘rich’ back home) also is mostly within this cursing period. Canada is like many other places, mix of goods and bads. We weigh all options and then focus our goal in right direction. Yes; many employer(s) take advantage of (may call cheat) new immigrants. But on the flip side of it, the experience gained from those under paying employers helps getting to good ones.

After the gestation period (max. 3 years); BAHU (newly wed girl) has to accept new family to make ‘SASURAAL’ and ‘MAIKA’ both happy to lead a cheerful life.

Ben

Share its nice to hear that you want to come to Canada. Here i can get a threading done at a parlour cost $6 to $10 or get it done by someone at their place for $3

Its not easy to come on work permit here for this category of job as every corner u will find a beautician either professional or fake one (mostly housewives).

Its better you consult a lawyer or Consultant, see what is your option in coming here, or complete a degree and make your application as skilled worker.

It will take some years but u will be more successful, try to find a career that is in demand in Canada.

Good luck

I personally dont know these people, but my friends got the work permits for their kids from them. They were quite satisfied. Although he charges lot of money CAD 10000 for workpermits. This money he takes in installments and are upto PR. At the end he became greedy and asked for more money than the agreed amount.

Kindly dont go by my suggestions alone. Use your links to find agencies like this.

Don't 'pay' to get a work permit. That might lead you into troubles in future and may make you ineligible for PR if the government finds it out.

To do Beauty Salon work you need to be a licensed cosmetologist. (the rules differ from province to province)

There are a lot of desi women who do it for below the minimum wage without license but I think it is illegal as it violates Ontario's health and safety rules.
