Does anyone know where we can get Colgate Palmolive's Protex soap here in Toronto ?

It used to be easily available in the Gulf stores , but I haven't seen it here ... Wondering if any CD s have come across it here ..

I have used this soap an antibacterial one while I was in Mexico. Some of the border towns in USA, Close to Mexico, might carry them too.

If you know any merchant here who can order a case from Mexico, you can take the quantity you need out of his supply. You may have to make it substantial.

It is available in North America, so should have no problem in searching for a supplier.

Freddie.

Contact C & P on their 800 number.

RajCanada ,

Thanks a lot Freddie + 1 :) ..

Why I d asked this was because I used this soap for almost a decade and since I have come to Canada , I don't find myself enthused to buy Irish Spring .. I miss Protex ..

Thanks folks ..

Back home, recently I tried PEARS Blue, it was some thing new. Smells great.

Here I used to get COAST. That went out. Now i have to cross the border for it.

SAFEGUARD was really good. Then I started on LEVER 2000. I am using it now as i saw a sale in No Frills.

Once I tried 'soap on a rope.'

Freddie.

But this one was the most germicidal one that smelled germicidal for twenty four hours at a time.

TABLET of Soap Washing tonnes of daily dirt,
a hexagon shaped carbolic bar,
producing gargantuan amount of froth when rubbed vigorously,
obnoxious odour when mixed with fruit juice,
waves of scented euphoria for bulk of the day,
scraping blanket of germs from skin,
whitewashing body with germicidal paint brush,
gently caressing flesh with rich lather,
culminating into elastic bubble spray,
blending superbly with tepid tap water,
fumigating scalp hair, *slaining chains of dandruff,
reinvigorating natural electric balance of body,
extremely bitter in taste with a mesmerizing smell,
a thorough essential inhabiting wash rooms,
available in plain, multicolored bars, wrapped in gaudy paper,
transforming breathing idols of dirt, to immaculate gods,
also used for washing, smudged clothes,
long silky curls of animal skin,
initiating allergic reaction while entering the eye,
is my beautiful red 'LUXURY TABLET OF SOAP' (c)
(r) copyright-2004, by nikhil parekh.

* Poetic license.

There was another one with Carbolic soap, fifty odd years old, may be I will find here on the net.
