Has anyone done this procedure? Any suggestions, feedback, recommended doctor in Ontario...

I want 2 do it for both near and far vision... its an absolute handicap when you have to strain ur eyes all the time .... and even more to read the time in the morning. (if you know what I mean)

I would advice to get your thickness of Cornea checked from atleast two good dcotors before goin for Laser. There is always a risk (cant say the percentage) for getting desired results. My cousin got his Laser done in India, and now he is here. After 3 months, his left eye's vision got lost (even with spects). Now after consulting with a top notch doctor, he said, your cornea was very thin, and laser should not have been done on your eyes, as it has damaged your cornea. Now he will undero surgery in Aug end, to artificaly build up cornea. This is again not 100% guaranteed. So from my expereince, one shld decide based on recomendations from good dcotors whether to go for Laser for your case or not after getting thickness and other required parameters of your eyes thoroughly checked.

Lasik is also not recommended for folks with myopia i.e. short sightedness.
I have myopia and my doctor (in India) strongly advised against it.
For very mild myopia, it is ok (say less than -1.0) but anything -2.0 or more it's not ideal.
And for -5.0 or more range, it gets very risky.
