Just wondering can we ship luggage such as a suitcase to India. Not sure if that works. Need to ship a box and a suitcase. Either by sea or air (UPS / Fedex?). It will have only clothes and other related materials (blankets, etc). Any suggestions / references appreciated.

There are door to door desi shippers, you will see there ads in desi news paper advertising a $2 or $3 rate per pound for india.

ups/fedex would be very expensive. I think you should try to see the ad in desi newspaper as told in previous post. They can make an arrangement for pick up from your place or you can try Canada Post. Canada Post would be comparatively cheaper than UPS/FEDEX
