Then, in theory atleast, you are in a still better position. You could actually switch to a "equivalent" position if situation forces. I guess the key to keep your status is to remain employed (not a bad problem to have) considering the thousands of professionals who are trying to get employed.

Well...employment is key to all EB candidates. For the OP, since he is on EAD, he will still be "in status" even in case of job loss.

I guess you meant Canada is on its way OUT of recession.

Well I would say Canada never felt the heat of recession (except for couple of months last year). The real surprise is coming when bubble of gold will pop and real estate market sees a correction. I would say TSX could feel the pain as early as December and the main street would see the effect in late spring early fall. But this is something that can be discussed at length in Financial planning section.

That is a completely different issue from the employment market. Do not make comments like this on the recession.

Although I found above statement rude, I will assume you are trying to put forth an argument (Because try howsever hard you cannot dictate what I should do or not do. From now on I will put a disclaimer).

Doesn't employment and recession go hand in hand? I never saw a recession where employment was at its peak!

Not meant to be rude but you make comments with no basis really and that is scaring people off. I get this feeling you're a newcomer, correct ?
