Does anyone know what Aurora (a suburb of Chicago) in Illinois is like to live in? Are there are a lot of desis there?

Lot of desis are there. One of the good school districts.

Trust me the Aurora school district is not the reason to move there... it's a nice suburb, one of the newer ones, we lived there when it was just farmland and have seen it grow and develop. The schools tho are overcrowded and not where u want ur kids to go, Naperville schools are better but they're not accepting any more kids. If u want to buy a house, Aurora is saturated now, Naperville is old and with smaller homes, but Oswego, Plainfield and even further south like Joliet is where people are moving to. Plainfield & Oswego are nice suburbs too. A lot of new desis there. And the school district there is decent coz it's newer and has space for the expanding population. Are u moving there hina? U'll like it, better than GTA any day.

Aurora is also famous for the Temple
Plainfield is a nice area to buy house and that area is developing fast with sharp asset apprecitaion.One of my friend bought a new house in planinfield with damn cheap price and moving next month.
Chicago is absolutely nice place for desis ..I still miss Chicago a lot
and planning to move back there after getting Canadian Citizenship
