Thanks Chittesh/TK and everybody on this thread.
Well surely one thing is very evident that leaving a decent life style - in Delhi having a flat, a car, good family income of > 8 Lac per annum, having the comforts of working maids / car cleaners / chowkidars / and most importantly having abundance of skilled labourers for petty works (civil / plumbing / electricity e.t.c) is going to be a tough decision to make.
Pollution free environment, a society with civic sense, good law & order, child's education e.t.c are the factors to look forward to in Canada & I feel are worth considering for a decent life if not a decent life style.
In today's perspective leaving India also seems faulty as economic development is of prime focus and coming 3 - 5 years are going to reap benefits if I stick it out here (this is presuming general elections next year brings a good political party with majority).

For e.g If you are in Delhi and are earning about Rs. 50000 or more and you have your own house, It would be stupid of you to come here at all. In other areas Rs. 35,000 (Family income)+ own house.
Also it depends on what life do you want here? Are you here to educate your kids for free? are you here for clean, fresh air? Are you coming here to use free library, parks etc...? if for the ablve said reasons, please do come.

Hope this helps
Peace
Dear TK / Maharaj
Thanx.
As asked for, well we are both in office administrative job / posts.
I am with an Indian corporate house as DGM and my spouse is assistant to chief of organization in telecom sector.
We have a daughter who will appear in her Xth board exams coming March ' 09.
I feel since we both are from non- technical background hence not fussy over geting same profession jobs in Canada, if we opt for migrating.
I see it as an advantage.
Your honest opinions please.

Let your daughter finish 12 th and then come to Canada for Degree studies. No use migrating now.
