Hi
I have a 2 year old who is a US citizen and CDN PR. He got a PIO from US. I have a couple of qns.
We are planning to go to India from Toronto. Do I need to update his PIO card to include his cdn PR status.
Last time when we were returning to Canada from India we were asked if we informed and registered the kid since we stayed for 6 months. After sometime they allowed him through. I thought the kids with PIO don't need any registration
Can some one answer the above qns please. Thanks
Include Canadian PR status ==> I didn't do.
Stayed for 6 months in PIO ==> My kids stayed more than six months in India as a PIO, never informed any one.

The cowards never started,
The weak died on the way,
Only the strong arrived.

Indian embarkation card stated that children less than 16 years of age, need not register themselves if they have a PIO.
Only passports are tied to PIO cards and not PR cards.
