Can anyone give me an opinion on the following.

1) I stayed in Canada with my family during July 2003 to Dec 2005 ( 29 months ) but did not complete 36 months / 3 years required for citizen ship.

2) Now I am in India and my PR Card/status is valid till year 2008.

My question is if I can come back to Canada after year 2008 and again become resident !? is that allowed or I have to get my PR Cards renewed ? or apply afresh for immigration again !?

If I am not mistaken according to new rules you have to present 02 years in 05 years to keep your residency status .

In my opinion I always suggest everybody to somehow complete 03 years of residency , apply for citizenship and than leave if required so .
