Hi all,
I am going to work as an independent contractor and consultant in 2 weeks in Toronto and I will be using my personal car.
I would like to know what do I need to keep a track off and log that will help me to claim my car expense end of year taxes.
I am also thinking of other expenses that I can write off but I will put those in a different post.

All expenses related to travel for work:
Gas, maintenance, plate renewal, insurance, parking, mileage driven for work and total mileage driven during the year, lease payments (if any)
Based on the % mileage you drive for work, all other expenses will get prorated
