Hi,
I work in the US on H1b visa and my employer in US sent me over on business to Canada on a business visa(WX-1). I have my wife and daughter with me here on tourist visas.
I will be here until July 1st 2012.
In the mean time I would like my parents to visit me from India in May
They already have multiple entry visit visas to the US.
The document checklist (at http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/images/Document%20Checklist%20eng.pdf), section \"For visits to Family and/or Friends\" says if I were to invite them, I would need to provide:
1. Letter of invitation and/or statutory declaration (affidavit) of support.
2. Proof of immigration status of inviter (copy of Canadian permanent resident card, passport, citizenship card or work/study permit.
3. Financial documentation of the inviter (Notice of Assessment, T4, proof of employment, bank statement).
Point 2 assumes that the inviter is atleast a work or study permit holder, but I am neither.
Can I still invite them?
All I have is a visitor record(not work permit). I dont even have any thing from point 3 above. Can I substitute with my US financial documents?
OR should they apply without my invitation?
What option has better chances of success based on your experience?
Thanks in advance for your kind responses

I do not think a visitor can invite another vistior, it is better for them to apply on their own
