Only those CDs will open their heart who are in a situation such that if they go jobless or ill for 2-3 months , will still be comfortable on living expenses etc. and will not feel the hole in pocket but alas it will be difficult to find an immigrant that affluent, hence there are good intentions, willingness in CDs to do charity but no spare money, no spare time. spare time will be required to fill money gaps, to please god, to pay for rituals in temples and churches .
For me, If at all I 'll find some spare money, it will be used in trip to India to meet parents and friends, will have to buy compulsory gifts. There is lot going on in a CDs life. Infact some of them need charity. So sorry ! I can only praise, send good wishes and see others doing it,. I asked few friends , they also are same. May be in old age I'll be able to do something.
Having said that, look for exceptions, there are exceptional people for exceptional causes.
