Any clues on functioning of PRIMERICA insurance companies,
I am holding a simple life insurance policy with that company, but was not feeling comfortable continuing with it.
Any views please share.

CLAIMS, was one of the concern, plus, (citi group)affiliation, and general woes with long term survival capabilities, if the Govt of Canada, is finding issues, how much do we trust on this companies?

Primerica is a MLM company. So the commission to the agent and the agent is only down the food chain. Commission is paid to each and every one in the food chain.
So the portion of the actual money that will be set aside for insurance will be low when compared to other insurance companies.
In the end, it is how they decide and where they decide to invest which will form the basis of the future health of the company which is very subjective.
In the end, Primerica is well know for making the insurance agent rich and it is more well known for Sell Primerica to gullible natives / immigrants and make a living out of it rather than to be considered as a healthy financial product.

Insurance is the biggest scam in the world..
Warren buffet made his money by owning insurance companies..
This industry is fraught with distrust because people hide info when they apply for insurance and are disappointed when they make the claim..
All insurance companies regardless of type of insurance reduce risk by sharing the risk with re insurers. Primerica also does the same thing.. Citibank doing well or not will not affect their insurance arma whole lot.
Best is to get group life insurance from ur employer.. these are paid out without hassles.
If u cant get that then u should avoid life insurance.
