No I am not with any provider as well, I have an unlocked iphone. I really don't care about data... As long as I have unlimited calling.
Any good deal plans appreciated.

You could try ChatR. Rogers owns it. They use the same network as Rogers, so wide coverage within Canada. Their phone choices suck. But you seem to have your own phone, see if it is compatible with their service.

ChatR does not provide official support for iPhone, you have to cut the SIM to enable it. Even I did not care about data when I bought the unlocked iPhone, but your iPhone does wonders for which you will soon succumb to get a data plan. I got a new deal with rogers after my original contract of 3 years was over, now it is $60 with my 10, 200 min, evening/wknd free, 1 gb data, voice mail, caller id,fwd etc.
Also note if you go with your own phone and you sign up for a contract, the contract breakage fee is only $12, I am not sure many of you know this, it was introduced in Jan of this year.
If you can forget iPhone, go for Mobilicity.
Unlimited calling (Canada + North America)+ Unlimited National and Global smses + Unlimited Data + VM + Call waiting + Conference call + Caller ID = $27.50 + Taxes.
Some dealers also give additional cash discount. Google them.
I am very happy customer since I bought it.
Check mobilicty coverage map, too.
Btw, I am neither working with Mobilicity nor a dealer nor know any dealer.
iPhone won't work in mobilicity.
With iPhone, you are stuck with Rogers/Bell/Telus. To have value of the iPhone, you do need data. Average use (email/news/maps etc.. no video streaming) wont take more than 400 MB per month... Plan wise all are kind of similar. You may want to go with who has better signal at your home and work locations.
