My application for citizenship is in process, i have talked to few people who prefer to live on PR status , and some others dying to get Canadian passport , so technically what are pros and cons
if one decides to go back to india, does living on canadian passport will be a problem ?

It comes down to a personal preference. Living in India on a Cdn passport should not be an issue as anyone moving out of Canada permanently or for long term would tend to be an OCI. OCI get most benefits akin to a Permanent Resident.
Remaining a PR in Canada, one must ensure residency is maintained. But that should not be an issue for someone who leaves the country on a limited basis.

I do not see any disadvantage of Canadian Citizenship ... please let me know some except buying aggricultural land or voting in India ..
Even in India ( as much as any other part of the world ) , you should be able to secure a better job with a Canadian Passport .... And your Indian option is always secured with an OCI ...
Thats why most people yearn for a Canadian Citizenship -- yet to find some one who is qualified and has not applied for one ..... except for a person who did not wish to pay Visa costs while visiting India .. which I believe can be done away with an OCI status .

Have you tried to apply for visas for european, australia or usa with indian pp?
It can be stressful...
With a Canadian pp you do not need visas for most countries. Immigration, customs, security is a breeze through airports.
That is the biggest advantage, I see with a Canadian pp.
