Perhaps one of the most vile and sickening article I have ever read. I do not have any problem with people eating meat, but to make attacks against a social system makes no sense. I wonder what the author is trying to achieve here.

There's enough holes in his article to drive a truck through them. He equates not eating beef to being a vegetarian. No mention of other animals who're consumed as meat, wonder if he knows that eating chicken or pork or fish does not make you vegetarian.
There's a social stigma in India against eating beef, no doubt. There's no socially enforced vegetarianism though, other forms or meat/fish are freely available and people still remain vegetarians by choice.
Some of the language in his article is laughable at best. "And yet, the edible wildlife remained unmolested". Huh? Unmolested?
