Hi,

I came to know that my wife, wrongfully got hold of my job letter, bank statement and my tax return for year 2013. She is planning to use these documents for her parent’s super visa application. As I am the only earing person in the family, all these documents bearing my name are being used to prove Low income cut-off for sponsorship of her parent’s application and this is initiated without my information, consent or approval.

Our separation process case is in family court with final date on around 22nd June 2013. So my earning should not be counted as family income.

What should be the correct procedure of informing visa office in Pakistan so that their application of super visa should not be processed?

Please let me know.
Regards and thanks

1) Job letter : You cannot do very much about it.
2) Bank Statement . : You surely can go to the bank and verify the same. Please inform them that you no longer are responsible for her. They will know why. Open a new account with them and transfer out all of the funds and tell them it is only you who will operate that account.
3) Contact CRA for protection.
4) The sponsorship application will need a co-signor, that is you, and your signature will not be there any longer.
5) They will need an invitation letter from you. It will not be there.
6) They will ask for EI slips etc., It is not there. Do not provide them.

First see what all it calls for. Here it is in this link.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/results-by-topic.asp?t=4

Go to the very botton of this check list. See what they will be missing from that list.
IMM5484 : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5484E.pdf

Contact CRA at 800 959 8281 and get details for changing the password
on your direct access for your account and SIN Number by your spouse
or an accountant., then change it and recheck the same. Jot the NEW
Password some place where you can get it if you needed it any time.

It is my observation that all cases end up here. : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/paris.asp
Currently ALL Family Sponsorship cases end up at the CPC Mississauga.

Case Processing Center at Mississauga : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/mississauga.asp
If you have finalized Divorce Papers here in Canada, Please forward a PHOTOCOPY of the same to them with your SIN number with current address and other details such as contact number to them. They will keep it in your files for reference. P.O. Box 6100, Station A. L5A 4H4

simple call CIC and let them know that you are not going to co-sign - c is sending false information..

your goal is to not support your wife in sponsorship - so lets make it simple and informed CIC by writing letter then fallow up with it.

REGISTER LETTER IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR RECORD... SO EVEN IN FUTURE IF SHE MANAGE TO BRING THEM HERE , U WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM.

So what, let her be happy!
As long as you have not signed any forms you are ok, she can be in serious trouble.
Move on with your life!
