Hello,

My father recently passed away in Pakistan. I need to bring my Mother and sister from Pakistan as they have no one to look after them now.

My mother is in good health and my sister has down syndrome. I have good income and stable government employment for the past 8 years. Own a house and my kids are born here and myself and wife are Canadian Citizens.

I checked the supervisa, but I cannot include a dependent in that.

What would be my options with respect to the new sponsorship scheme coming out in 2014?

I assume you want to sponsor them, you must have read the new rules which start i n 2014 but its very limited to 5K applications and it can easily take 4+ years

Only other option I could think of is get them here on visit visa, and then apply on H & C grounds, you can have sponsorship running + H & C which is a very tough category, but then no other choice
