Hello All
In need of recommendation for sending parcel (30kg) from Canada to USA.
It is imitation jewelry 
(Not mine - cousin bought it from India to give gift to 175 people in wedding)
Would appreciate your recommendation of any courier/parcel delivery companies.

Anything that is sent across the border, other than items for personal use will need a declaration from the sender as to the nature of its origin and the country from which it was brought in.
Since it is Costume jewelery, but seems to be bulk in this case, might also call for such requirements. Even then if all of them are not similar or identical, you may be able to get away with it.
You weill get proper instructions from the Couriers with complete details from them. They will also give you their zoning system and the rates to go with it.
There are couriers who will carry and deliver it for $5.00/kg Might end up costing you $150 plus other surcharges. (Freight, Forex, and postal duty.) This is for a weeks delivery by Parcel post. There are a lot of them to post here. DTDC/FF
You can also make a run to the border and post it out of the nearrest location there through the US postal services. They have standard boxes and standard rates for those boxes. IF IT FITS INTO THAT BOX, IT GOES for the box rate. Please check the US postal service for their rate card.

In addition to what FH mentioned above if you wish to use USPS service without running to the border you can use the services of this company : http://chitchatsexpress.com
I have used them before and they are good as long as your package value is below $200.00. If you have USPS stamps, you pay only the service charge. If you don't have USPS postage you can walk into their office and use their account. They charge $1.00 extra for this. They have all the sizes of USPS prepaid boxes...
